I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

We all do foolish things in our youth.

Give one odd, strange or weird fact, or perhaps a secret, about yourself.

I went on a bus the other day and I had this strange uncomfortable feeling, couldn't work out why.

Anyway, once at home it dawned on me I hadn't been in a vehicle for a while; because I haven't had to go to London for work or pleasure recently, I buy many things via the web and if I l need anything else I have two large conurbation within 20 miles, I can basically cycle most places. Socialising by bicycle is a doddle in this country.

So a quick check of my bike journey records ( :nerd: ) reveal this odd fact about myself, previous to the bus journey I hadn't been inside or used any form of motor vehicle for ......   291 days.

Apparently at least two of my friends think that keeping a record/spreadsheet of ones bike journeys is rather odd. :gasp: Who knew.
