In several surveys, the overwhelming first choice for what makes Canada unique is multiculturalism. This, in a world collapsing into stupid, impoverishing hatreds, is the distinctly Canadian national project.

Still enjoying Plur1bus. For how little happens I find myself quite engrossed, not least thanks to excellent acting, directing, photography and editing. It's bringing up a lot of questions around connection (how much do we want/need), how much we rely on others (or not) and how similar people can be different or different people (or people vs hivemind) can be similar, and what makes us human, themes of AI, communality vs individualism, etc. Not to mention how carefully constructed some of it feels, between parallel actions, what people say vs. what they do, the use of color, etc. Hard to talk about without going into spoilers. I don't think it's a crowd pleaser like Breaking Bad, but I enjoy going on this emotional and philosophical journey. I don't think I can recommend it, because I'm not quite sure who would like this. I think celedhring would get a kick out of the writing and production that goes into it. :P

Ep. 7 of The Amazing Digital Circus dropped, too (YouTube). It goes back to its existentialist themes, but I hate to say I saw the ending coming from miles away - but I don't think it was a bad thing, since it's much more focused on the characters, anyways.

I've also watched the first two episodes of For All Mankind. Liking it and will keep watching.
