CGI action is a bit too conspicuous for my taste, made worse in the trailer (go figure), and some will prefer Schwarzenegger as the protagonist. Speaking of which, he has quite an original "cameo".

No, he was like the rest of the communists of that time.  Against WW2 when Germany was allied with the Soviets, pro-war when they weren't.
