I'm looking for horror movie soundtrack suggestions. I'm trying to write one and I like to make an accompanying playlist for each of my projects, to put me in the mood.

I'm looking for atmospheric fare. And no synth stuff, which I know takes 90% of the best stuff off the table but it's not the mood I'm looking for.

So far I've got.

- The Shining (the orchestral bits) - and also the Ligetti stuff from 2001, Kubrick was great at picking creepy contemporary orchestral music.
- Midsommar
- Psycho

Not a long list, so I need help

Kingsley playing mean nasty people is something I feel he should've done more often in his career. He's a delight in that movie.

Wonder why they told that weird alien sub story if they knew they were finishing (and went at a break neck pace with inaros to do so). Fingers crossed for a film.
Or an adaptation of the later novels for people who don't want to read the first ones but have seen the series.

yeah, he was standard for the times.  We are now taller.

Also, the French pouce was larger than the British inch.

Yeah, it was probably something that would have been developed in the next season, but when that was cut they didn't want to spend the money to redo the script and shot more scenes.  Really terrible way to end what had been a very good sci-fi series.

Well, at least Henry gets to keep working on those sword skills and earns some money for more Warhammer miniatures.
