Bridesmaids was awful. But some people are into that.

Bridesmaids was "let's take one of those awful comedies aimed at men and make it as an awful comedy aimed at WOMEN!". If they are going to use the same brand of comedy for Ghostbusters, it's going to be terrible.

Hangover 1 was at least funny.

Just in case we didn't have enough Chris Pratt in our screens, he's apparently being eyed for a new Indiana Jones movie.

Well, not a terrible idea. Since they are going to do it eventually, Pratt would be a good pick.

Bradley Cooper would've been better though (he was also rumored a year ago or so).

Forensic accounting, so hot right now.
compared to... lawyers tv show? Definately!

So, lawyers shows = hot.  Doctors shows = hot.  Vetirinary shows = hot.  But not forensic accounting?

I fail to see the difference.  Overtly exagerated tv script based on actuality.  Lots of weird cases.  Lots of extra-marital relationships at the office.  Girls will dig it, especially the ones for whom fidelity&honesty is the most important thing in a couple.

Forensic accounting has typically shown up as something that the dorky specialist does to assist on a case. :D

I don't agree at all.

Fair enough. Watching it I had the feeling I had seen the exact same movie countless times, with the same themes and archetypes,  just with guys instead of chicks.

Well, I will agree that it was in a familiar spot - I just don't find that to be a bad spot. :P

Can't argue against that; I'm not going to try to convince people to stop liking things they like . I just didn't find it funny at all.

So, the sequel to that Snow White flick with Charlize Theron won't have Snow White in it, and only two dwarves.

Theron was pretty great in the first one.

She hammed it up immensely, which turned out to be the sole entertaining part of the film. She's in the sequel, alongside Hemsworth.

Razgovory

I did see "The Interview", free on Netflix.  I wouldn't say it was painful, but if it was showing while I was stuck on a plane there might be a hostage situation   I came up with a much funnier premise for a film involving Kim Jong Un.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
