Ideologue

Just wondering, 'cause I called it hicksploitation.

Just saw the pilot of Twin Peaks. Once I got used to the acting it was really interesting for almost all of the one and a half hour run time. I like the FBI agent, didn't he play a bad guy in that horrible Indiana Jones knock off?

Admiral Yi

Romancing the Stone?  Don't remember him in that.  Probably his best known roles are in Dune and Blue Velvet.

Romancing the Stone is not an Indiana Jones knock off, nor is it horrible.

Tyrant, Rectify and Legend of Korra are the only tv shows I'm watching now. Summer sucks and these three are "interesting premise, seeing if I get hooked", "got hooked, waiting to see if they do anything with it" and only Korra gets "ossum"
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

2nd season of "The Bridge" started last night.  Always room for more Diane Kruger.

I watched the leaked episodes in Spanish, this season looks really good.
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Three english language episodes are out. The leaked spanish ones are episodes 3-6.

One wonders if Toph finally gets her life changing journey with Zuko, even if only in a flashback, or vicariously through her daughter.

As well as English.

Whatever that means.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

The Librarian: Quest for the Spear?

That's the one.

And I must have intentionally forgotten it if he was in Dune.

A little, not enough to watch TV though. Thankfully other people know Spanish and English and one of them wrote subtitles.
