Edge of Tomorrow. Liked it quite a bit, though it's hampered by a weak ending.

Is it worth the price of entry just to watch emily blunt shoot tom cruise
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

Ed Anger

Saw that in the commercials. Money saved!

look every time bond tries to be relevant to his time it turns out crap.
Which is why in about 4 out of 5 films the villain should be Russian. I don't care about the War on Terror or hackers or North Korea. I want Russians in onesies.

QuoteRegarding Bond, Casino Royale is one of my favorite Bond films ever, but in general Craig's Bond is way too emo and self-searching, which kinda doesn't fit the character at all. I think Brosnan had all the Bond-isms down while not being dismissable as pure comedy like Roger Moore did. I think there's a balance.
I love Casino Royale and I like the Craig films. They're just not really what I want out of a Bond film. As I say for me it's like Batman. I prefer Burton to Nolan by some distance.

Brosnan's a bit effete <_<
Let's bomb Russia!

You might be on to something here, since Goldeneye is probably the Brosnan film that holds up best.

Despite Denise Richards as a nuclear scientist?

"Despite" wouldn't be the correct word here (rather "because"), but she's not in Goldeneye anyway. You're mixing it with The world is not enough.

Iormlund

Famke Janssen.  :mmm:

Also, the videogame was great.

Darth Wagtaros

Million Ways to Die in the West.

Glad someone else bought the ticket.
PDH!

Jaron

Winner of THE grumbler point.

Eddie Teach

To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

Darth Wagtaros

I just think the movie was crap.
PDH!

Might be.  :P The "I thought Christmas only came once a year" line must rank near the top of Bond's cheesiest one liners ever.

Funniest thing is the writers of the Brosnan movies are the same ones as the Craig ones - there's probably lots of credited and uncredited rewrites that explain part of the difference, but it's a fun weird fact given how vastly different both series are in style.
