Binge watching Banshee. Ranges from too over the top to just the right level of over the top to be enjoyable.

Yeah, that's just one of those that you have to sit back and call it for what it is:  stupid fun.

It's simple, quick and dirty. Heroes are pro-active. Wimmen are hott. Children are troubled. Villains are evil. Violence is quick and drity. Sex is frequent. Heists, fights and car chases. You have stereotypical Amish, stereotypical Injuns and stereotypical Ukes.

Regarding Bond, Casino Royale is one of my favorite Bond films ever, but in general Craig's Bond is way too emo and self-searching, which kinda doesn't fit the character at all. I think Brosnan had all the Bond-isms down while not being dismissable as pure comedy like Roger Moore did. I think there's a balance.

I love Casino Royale and I like the Craig films. They're just not really what I want out of a Bond film. As I say for me it's like Batman. I prefer Burton to Nolan by some distance.

"Despite" wouldn't be the correct word here (rather "because"), but she's not in Goldeneye anyway. You're mixing it with The world is not enough.
