I just want to say, Arrow is Ossum, it is the best thing on TV (cable or broadcast or streaming) right now. I raved about it (so did amscip too iirc) in previous seasons but it just gets better and better.

I started watching when it was shown over here but just couldn't get into it for some reason and dropped it after 4-5 episodes. Might have to give it another chance as I keep seeing people raving about it.

There is a lot of backstory to get started and they do have some dead ends to go down season 1. From about episode 8 season 1 they know what they are doing and from the Huntress episode it just gets better and better.

I watched the pilot and it definitely suffers from the Stormtrooper syndrome. If any of those professional bodyguards were a semi-decent shot this would've been the world's shortest series.

So, any thoughts about the likely end to True Detective? Are we going to be getting any big twists? My pet theory in the beginning was that
Marty was the killer
. But that seems less likely now than ever, and it would be completely unearned if that did turn out to be the case. I'm now leaning toward
Marty and Cohle just going out in a blaze of glory - maybe the black detectives show up and kill them after they deal with the Tuttles?
Also, will they actually resolve the case this season, or will the
Yellow King/Carcosa
be what connects the seasons together?
My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

So Grand Budapest Hotel isn't coming out here today, and according to Fox Searchlight, at all.  Closest on 3/14 is Atlanta; not even Charlotte.

Fuck them, and moreover fuck South Carolina.  I'm ashamed of this place.

From my understanding Kleves the seasons will be  separate independent things.

Capetan Mihali

Watched "Fargo" again, since it's on Netflix Instant; still great.  Love Buscemi.  The scene where he takes the escort to see Jose Feliciano at a nightclub and asks her "So do you find your work interesting?" is hysterical.
"The internet's completely over. [...] The internet's like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can't be good for you."

Much like Grease, it's a fine film.

Grease 2 is like watching Betty White strap on fuck George Burns.

It could be George Burns now and still probably be better than Hunger Games.

Hey now.  Early Michelle Pfeiffer is always worth it.

And Adrian fucking Zmed is the fucking man you wish you were in the 1980s.
