TRON. Made it through maybe half or a little more before I fell asleep. Wow, that was really, really boring.

Old or new?

New.

Also, Tron was hardly in the fucking movie.  I guess they used up all their expensive de-ageing software on Bridges, and didn't have enough left over for Boxleitner.

In other Boxleitner news, I saw Kuffs the other day for the first time in a long while.

I just saw the first episode of Falling Skies today.
Despite the sillyness of alien invasions at all and especially this one it seems OK so far. Kind of Half Life 2: The Series. Sans scientists.

You know, that was a rather funny movie.  I liked it.

I agree.  It was high water for Christian Slater as a star.

Finally got around to watch 'Donnie Darko' - it was ok. :gasp:

Also watch 'The Rite' with Anthony Hopkins, rather disappointing, easily forgettable.

Yeah, don't get the whole thing about it either.  Must be fucking hipsters doing it.

I'm watching The Kids Are Allright. Trying to figure out why a lesbian couple watches man-gay porn when they have sex.

That movie sounds completely awful.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

I figured it was part of the Hot Topic crowd.  I have no idea what they call themselves.  In high school, we called them losers.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Watched a bit of Torchwood. Too much faggotry.
My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I see you subscribe to the black and white view of sexuality.

Treme -- anyone?

I tried, couldnt finish the pilot.

Saw it at a free screening at the Forum des Images. I could watch the first series as they say in the UK but one needs to know it's not like the Wire.

Josephus

Treme. I finished the two seasons so far. It's not bad. Yeah, it's not like The Wire at all and it doesn't have sword play and baby dragons. It's very character driven, at times it moves slowly, and issues are left unresolved; but it is watchable.
