Though he is not seen much in recent months, i'd like to know Rex Francorum's opinion of Boccherini?  ...And of course everyone else please chime in... are you a fan?

The Brain

Huge fan, I've seen all his movies.

Martinus

I know how to play his famous minuet on a piano.  :homestar:

Strix

He wasn't as good as his brother Mario.  ;)

Pedrito

"Boccherini" sounds suspiciously similar to "blow jobs" in italian.  :secret:

Gtfo if you do not know Boccherini....

To your question, PRC, I would answer that Boccherini is worthy of exploration.

I suggest you to give a look especially at his symphonies, cello concerti and string quintets (including guitar quintets).

I will provide some samples, for your consideration.

Great stuff, I love his Cello concertos, that instrument produces the most soulful notes.
