What amazes me is the willingness of folks to swim at a beach that *requires* "shark watchers".

Yup, exactly.

Swimming in places where sharks the size of (name your object of choice) - that is, big enough to eat people at one gulp - are common, and hungry, just seems a trifle nerve-wracking.

Pool please!

Well, I must admit a certain attraction for stuff like chocolate bars and pizza ... Not to mention bacon slices  All of which can kill, though admittedly dying from eating is a lot slower than dying from being eaten!

Not to mention

And yes, I could've selected one of many more horrible pictures but being a gentle person I elected to spare those who aren't especially interested in the gory details.

It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.
