With a bit of good will and knowledge of context I can read it. It's about as hard to understand as modern dutch for me. I like the way they refer to Anglo-Saxon (the language) as English in Anglo-Saxon.
First Maxim - "There are only two amounts, too few and enough."
First Corollary - "You cannot have too many soldiers, only too few supplies."
Second Maxim - "Be willing to exchange a bad idea for a good one."
Second Corollary - "You can only be wrong or agree with me."

A terrorist which starts a slaughter quoting Locke, Burke and Mill has completely missed the point.
The fact remains that the only person or group to applaud the Norway massacre are random Islamists.

I always felt that the poor Saxons got gypped on the naming rights.  Not to mention the Jutes.

Yeah, whats particularly odd is that the Saxons came out as the dominant folks too- the Angles being primarily in the Viking ravaged north and east whilst the Saxons were sitting pretty in Wessex and from there eventually went on to form England.

But I suppose we should be thankful. If the Saxons had got naming rights I'd be living in Sexeland or somesuch.
And it'd be pretty confusing given the importance the Saxons in Germany have had over history.

I've only ever met one person who claimed to speak Esperanto. Still beats the number of people I met speaking Anglo-Saxon.

But Esperanto is a flat-out stupid language to begin with.  Which makes anything in Esperanto infinitely dumber than anything in Anglo-Saxon.

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.
