Right, this stuff there is old news, but lately it seems it's heating up even more, given that the US is doing air strikes with the agreement of the Yemeni govt. And also hearing more about AQ/other radical operatives, in larger numbers, though that's probably old news.

It is old news.  The US wasted a bunch of AQ types in Yemen with a missile attack before.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny.
