What do you drink during Christmas?

My guess is that American consumption of alcohol is substantially less per capita, but still significant.

I saw a thing once that ranked beer consumption per capita worldwide, and the top of the list was the Czech Republic, followed by Ireland and then Germany.  The United States wasn't even in the top ten--think it was somewhere around 20th on the list.  Canada was even lower on the list than the US, which surprised me.  The top countries were either all in Europe or were Australia or New Zealand.

Obviously people don't JUST drink beer, but I thought it was fairly insightful since beer is probably the booze of choice in the United States.
