I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a good reliable, easy-to-use and hopefully not too expensive backup software. I've been using the windows briefcase to synch my files from my notebook onto a flash drive but I'd like to be able to synch them with my desktop as well which doesn't seem to be supported.

Also I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with solid-state storage for desktop or notebook PCs.

I keep meaning to set a Time Machine backup on my Mac...

Have you tried Sync Toy?  Here's it being discussed on Tekzilla (as a bonus you get to look at Veronica Belmont :perv:http://revision3.com/tekzilla/veronica#seek=383.349
"If you can play a guitar and harmonica at the same time, like Bob Dylan or Neil Young, you're a genius. But make that extra bit of effort and strap some cymbals to your knees, suddenly people want to get the hell away from you."  --Rich Hall

Thanks for that. Looks like several good options there.
