The typical christmas films I remember from when I was a kid tend not to be shown these days- Zulu, the Great Escape, Laurence of Arabia, Spartacus, etc...
Damn I loved Zulu./

Oh yeah, in the days before commercial television (or in the early days when commercial stations had little cash) monumental movies were on during holidays: Ben Hur, Gone with the Wind, Spartacus, El Cid, Lawrence of Arabia, Gandhi, Dr Zhivago ... I love them all.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

Thanks for including an "other" category. I want to vote but not for any of those hack jobs.
Die Hard is not a hack job.

For some reason, gays can't resist acting like junior high girls.
