What other reason could there be to have a pic of that city?

Everyone loves Florence; not just fans of Machiavelli.  My namesake came from Ferrara, but he did his best work in Florence.   :)
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

Without them, there would have been no Catherine. :(

Savronela? Never heard of him.
It was Michelangelo's middle name; Michelangelo Savronela Antonioni.  All his close friends called him that.
