Ford just announced it's going to start building the Kuga here, probably at the Explorer plant (the F-250 is also built here).

Also Harley-Davidson has been heavily scouting a location to move all of their manufacturing to.

Is Louisville the: new Detroit?  :)

Sell your properties while they're still worth something!

Are you sure you want to become the new Detroit, having seen what the old Detroit has become?

Jaron

Old Detroit became the way it is not because of automobiles, but because of uncontrolled nigra population growth. If there is one thing in Kentucky that is under control, its the nigramen.
Winner of THE grumbler point.

I wish I could remember which suburb there had that Ponderosa restaurant that was so good.

Jeffersonville?

Fuck, I want a chopped steak and fries now.

Last time I went to a Ponderosa was in Oneonta, NY.   I'm pretty much never going back to a Ponderosa again.

It's called Delta City, not New Detroit.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

I was in Oneonta last year.  What a strange town.

With the horrible finances of the American auto companies I wonder if they have the money to finance the necessary development of future powertrains and other future technologies. Without these investments, the American auto industry has little long-term perspective I think.
