I cooked my dad and his girlfriend Spanish chicken with butter beans and chorizo followed by summer pudding and cream. It was a big hit. Oh, and I bought him the DVD of the True Grit remake. Looking forward to borrowing that!

You'll have to tell me that recipe, never heard it in my life.  :lol: Chorizo as a side dish? That's innovative, over here chorizo is eaten either uncooked as a stand alone with other cold cuts or fried and eaten as some sort of appetizer, but not as a side dish, if I understood you well.

Btw, Father's day over here is the 19th of March, St Joseph's day.
