Apparently there is another big tea party thing going on today Besides Dick Armies outfit(freedom works), it's also being organized by some other groups.  http://www.narlo.org/  Is one of the sponsors.  They have a neat video:

I love demonstrations, so this is a good thing.

As with the anti-war demos I think the radicals are probably a minority.  However, the right should try to avoid association with them.  This 'astroturf' debate really confuses me.

Incidentally there may have been Bushitler signs within Bush's first 9 months.  But I've seen a picture of one that accuses Obama of being like Hitler, Stalin, Lenin and Castro :lol:

Yeah, it might also be because the American right has going so far off the deep end they don't actually recognize what right is anymore.  I think the GOP has ceased to be a conservative movement (at least in the Burkean tradition) and more a reactionary movement.  William F. Buckley used to say his job was stand atop the train of society and yell stop!.  Now the idea is to take the the train of society and drive it backwards as fast as possible, derail it, and whoop like indians dancing around it.

I think they mean "liberal" as in "socialists are liberal with other people's money"

The one I find odd is how providing universal health insurance through a government subsidy (for the poor) or employers is a government take over.  I mean I live in a country where hospitals were literally nationalised and almost every doctor is paid for by the state and by taxes :lol:
