Just now getting organized?

A co-worker told me today that she had just gotten a letter in the mail yesterday from President Obama, asking her to donate money to help get his administration organized. 

Uhm, wasn't December of last year the time for something like that?

Though, now that's he's actually President, shouldn't the budget cover that?

I joked about the latter point with her.  I said, "Don't we already make donations for that?  They're called taxes."

I'd like to actually see the letter, partly to see how it's actually worded, and partly to see the date on it.
