I broke one of my fibulas by riding on the back of a bicycle and getting the foot into the spokes.

I broke one of my radius bones by playing soccer.

Both happened in summer so I couldn't swim in those summers because of the casts. :(

 Three months. One month in BWK Hamburg, though.  <_<

Recon artillery unit. I was a surveyor. It was an old outfit that would operate with forward audio observers to locate enemy arty. Of course the job of our battery is these days done by a single vehicle. :P I got to fire guns of the other batteries in our batallion (guns I fired were named Thor and Freya).

My platoon leader was a grandson of Field Marshal Kesselring, though, and the division commander was Falkenhayn, descendant of the supreme commander in WW1.

A toe, not worth much fussing.

I haven't ever broken a bone, although I have some nagging pain on my right big toe that I fear may be a small fracture. More sprains than I can remember on both ankles and fingers, though. Too much basketball when I was a teenager. I also got a cervical sprain and a shoulder sub-luxation from playing rugby afterwards.

Jos Theelen

55 years old, never broken a bone. They can probably put on my gravestone: "as good as new".

Viking

I broke one of my lower arm bones jumping backwards out of a swing when I was 10. I broke my left pinky finger playing basketball when I was 16. I broke my left little toe in judo when I was 18.

I broke my onw of my left forearm bones at the pool when I was 8 or 9. I slipped, jumped badly and too early, and my arm hit the springboard. Ouch.

That's cool.

Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.

I would be overjoyed to serve under a descendent of the man who ochestrated a glorious moment in German history like the attack on Verdun.
