I know Disney has been quite successful, but it's hardly a genre. Or are you implying that children's movies is an American genre?

Well "genre" isn't perhaps the best word but they have a quite distinct style.

Those comics are damned expensive.
Even for me these days let alone a kid.
Comics used to be pretty cheap.  Then again, I suppose your family chose to take sides with Moscow against the UK, so your childhood was probably pretty poor.

None of the above.  It's not so much that my childhood is raped, it's just that Marvel's rich history is going to take a beating, even worse than it has been in recent years.
