I have to send a 12-13 page fax to two numbers on the other side of the country today and was hoping to use the interwebz to do it for free.  The one program I have used-faxzero-has a limit of 2 faxes of 3 pages or less.

1. Any suggestions on a program that will do it for free?

2. I have to send an 8 page .pdf document and some other documents I have to scan.  Faxzero only allows you to attach one document per fax, if other hypothetical services have the same limit is there any way to combine my .pdf and .doc pages into a single document (pretty n00bie when it come to stuff like this)?

Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Can you just scan to a PDF and email it?  That has entirely replaced e-faxing at my company.  I scanned a rough schematic my VP did the other day and had it emailed to a guy in Bangalore within five minutes.

No it is some loan paperwork and the loan/financial industry still seems to be tied to the fax machine for some reason.   But thanks.

Also my machine does NOT have an analog modem.

I don't care about saving the office money, in fact I am going to go into the office for the first time in months just to send this personal fax on their dime.

There are so many free programs and services out there I just don't see any reason to pay $2.00 a fax if I could do it free.

try efax.

Thanks but that looks like more than I need to send a large fax every couple of years. :)

If your place of employment has a fax machine you already have your answer.
