Finally got back to uni at 11pm BST after setting off at 11am.
I had to take a car to Edinburgh, a plane to Nyköping, a bus to the train station, a train to Stockholm, a train to Uppsala and finally a bus to here.
Just nothing was going well for me. Right now I feel completely like hell and I suspect its this stress making me all ill.

Anyway. A point.
Airlines.
Last night packing was the usual malarky- trying to get the bag under 20kg, weigheing and weighing time after time until we manage it.
I get to the aiport though and...the buggers have only gone and changed the maximum to 15kg. So a lot of stuff was removed, not just the things I deemed acceptable to take out if we came to be over 20 (non-school books, vodka) but even some other things. I definatly saw my best pulling shirt and my nice new jeans removed.

Right behind me in the line though was a very fat German couple. And I mean huge. To say the bloke was 3 times my size would be a understatement.
These people though have just the same weight limits as me despite weighing twice as much themselves.
Now, when I was weighing my bags it was really silly stuff, taking out one can of pek made it half a kg lighter and other crazyness. To get the scales to weigh it for me I had to hold the bag and stand on the scales then subtract my weight from that. The bags are really trivial stuff compared to people.

So my proposal- all people get 100kg inclusive with their flight.
You go over this you pay extra.
This 100kg can be luggage, it can be fat, your choice.

I have seen this idea floated other places and I like it.

The tears in this thread are delicious.
Winner of THE grumbler point.

Uh, did you remove the stuff or did they do it for you?

Fine by me. I'm only 5'2" and can lose weight easily enough, but I'm thinking Viking and his kin may be a bit tougher sell.
Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

Yeah it was me, ambiguous wording. I meant there was some stuff that I was iffy on whether I'd be able to take it or not (20kg) but with 15 lots of things I had absolutely planned to take had to come out.
Luckily I had my parents with me at the time so they just took it home.

We gotta have a pic of you in your pulling shirt Joe.

Could you have payed the excess baggage charge?
Might have been worth it to save you the hassle.

I just drove to Biloxi and back in a day. Not fun.

What the fuck possible reason do you have to drive to Biloxi?

The LORD told me to do so in a dream.
