Basically, AFCs are dudes who, while not ugly nor social awkwards, don't get women. They are rather clumsy and lacking self-confidence and assertiveness, and most importantly, they are very, very frustrated by it. Usually identified by being named "nice guys".

I totally agree. If he had been normal and not a massive load of mommy issues, he would have got chicks by the dozens and never complained. Instead, he decided to cut the nose to spite the face.

That's what makes it so sad: The guy had the goods to have success with women, but didn't had the right mind or attitude, for whatever reasons.
