I don't like this american way of writing out songs.

Band - Title, not the other way around

Also, never seen so much crap.

American?

I think I subconsciously flip a coin whenever listing bands and songs.

A.C. Newman fronts one of my favorite bands The new pornographers.

used to... they are on a long hiatus AC is in NYC now...[shameless namedrop] most of that band come into the store regularly. Dan Bejar who was the "secret new pornographer" has a great side project called "Destroyer"[/shameless namedrop]

aside from that awesome AC newman album, my list contains a lot of bands I don't know well either. I like to DL singles from bands' myspace pages etc and find new music that way, as I'm outta the loop music wise mostly.
:p

I usually listen to 1) talk radio and 2) online streaming, mostly jazz, ambient and sometimes "new age".

Dude, this is shameful.
Where's Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer?

This is what happens when you get drunk and set your player on "repeat one" before you pass out.
Does this means that this music is what I "really" like?  :puke:

It's what happens when you're a poser.

Not bad.  I like the Sisters' version better, though.

So, having seen the lists you guys posted, I have a question. For Carolus Rex. What's come out recently that I should check out? I got the new DT release, but I haven't bought anything else in over a year. Maybe two. I'm not afraid of Euro stuff, but prefer music that musicians like, if you know what I mean.

Behind Blue Eyes?
The Who?

Isn't that a Limp Biscuit song?

You should be killed for that.
You beat me to it.  -_-
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

The Mob(tm) is with you there... others from that band are niche artists, she'd Big Time.

I like her too, but recently she hasn't made the pod.
