What's going on?
Why is it so hot?

I just went to my last range yesterday.
It was for 5.56, so I couldn't fire my M110.
Somehow I still have a company asigned M4, so I went out there and zeroed it and qualified with it.
I guess it is my backup weapon. Not that I plan to use it, ever.
After firing the M110, I have seen the light and come over to the 7.62 crowd.
To think that back in Eretz I hated the 7.62mm Galil AR and loved the 5.56 SAR.

Oh dude, it wasn't even the pop-up target range.
The qual was on the friggin paper targets at 25m in the zero range.
The SFC dude from Bco running the range came to me after I got 40 out of 40, and asked me to do the same again firing one of the 20 rds mag from kneeling and the other from standing.
I got 40 out of 40 again.  :lol:

Line infantry dudes should stay away from the battalion sniper section.

It is amazing how much shit they talk about us.

We treated our snipers well. They were the coolest guys at battalion.  Besides S6 of course. :cool:

Oh we got no problem with the shops.
They are all cool.
Just yesterday one of my friends in S6 fixed my CAC card that wasn't working.

We invest a lot in having good relations with the shops.
Only dumb line infantry joes think they can live, let alone fight a war, all on their own.

Well, the sniper section is part of HHC, which helps a lot in getting to know all the guys in the shops.
That's another advantage over the line.
They don't even know that S2 and S3 are the ones generating our missions, and that without S6 there is no comms, no retrans station, no SKL load, no FBCB2, no TGER net, etc.

Is it TGER or TIGR? I know it doesn't have one of the vowels.

I've lived in WA, it is really really hot there. They have a place there called "The Great Sandy Desert". Unsurprisingly it is big, full of sand and uninhabitable by anybody but big Red Kangaroos.
