Venezuela increases military co-operation with Russia

On 27 July, Venezuela and Russia signed a co-operation agreement to widen their military relationship, raising the likelihood of future arms procurement creating tension with neighbouring Colombia.

The televised signing of the 'New Statute on Military-Technical Co-operation' followed an earlier announcement by Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez on 24 July that Venezuela was intending to buy enough Russian tanks to double its fleet.

I am not very impressed with latin-american soldiers, and I'm talking here of US soldiers.
The only hardcore latino soldier I have ever known here in the US Army was a white argentinian.

Yep, that's all I got.

I have met very good non-white soldiers here in the US Army, but they haven't been latinos.
They are not horribly bad, but they are nowhere hardcore enough to play in the major leagues.

The ones serving with the US Army are certainly better than canadian soldiers.

And any soldier is better than me.
They all go to war not knowing if they are coming back. That's true valor.
War is too easy for me, since I can only die of old age.
