I'm starting to agree with him. <_<

Fine.  Rape my culture.  See if I care.

That's okay. Poutine is by definition a versatile dish.

Try it with Bacon & Onions or with Smoked Meat.
Colonel Caliga is Awesome.

Caliga

Doh!

Ok.... I like to put chocolate syrup on my butter tarts. -_-

I didn't know that was a Canadian thing.

Yeah, apparently.  I never heard of em till I saw a wiki article about Canadian cuisine a few months back.

Huh - I didn't know it was Canadian.  I thought it was more an English thing myself.

I'm more of a mincemeat tart man though.

No, never.  The closest things we have to that here are pecan pie (basically a butter tart with pecans added) or possibly chess pie and some forms of kuchen.

I will continue to brown ground beef, drain, add beans and tomato paste with a light touch of chili powder. NO ONIONS!

Dear Hod man :bleeding:

That sounds like spaghetti sauce with beans.

It's not a sauce. it is eaten with cheese(cheddar) and corn chips. No Cinammon, chocolate or other weird shit these fucks up here put in it.

it is also mild, as my Acid Reflux can't take spicy shit.

That's pretty much how I make chili.  Except WITH onions.

And I make it spicy as all hell.

My usual chili is made AS FOLLOWS:

1.  Brown 1 lb. ground beef with 2 cups diced onions (the onions and beef go in at the same time).

2.  When beef is browned, add tomato sauce/paste*, a cup of salsa, like ten teaspoons of chili powder, about a teaspoon of red pepper flakes, a teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and a teaspoon of black pepper.

3.  Blend all of that together, then add a can of light red kidney beans, and a can of dark red kidney beans.

4.  Bring to a boil and then simmer for as long as possible.

5.  Serve over cooked spaghetti with shredded cheddar and corn chips on the side.

* for some annoying reason Princesca insists on a full can of tomato sauce, but I like my chili less tomatoey and if she's not around to bug the shit out of me about it I only put in a little can of tomato paste

I don't like to chew. So onion powder is used instead.

I avoid chili at all costs. Like I want something nasty like that in my body.

How is it nasty?  It's all very healthy stuff.
