I just don't think you can do that at this level - semi-final or final, against a team with Messi. But the score, retreat to just defending and then collapse keeps happening.

And the opposite of what you saw with Spain, say. Scored - kept the pressure on, built it.

Yeah, you have a stronger case now that England is out. If England had made it to the final there would always have been a question of the wire tip goal
