I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. The public has already forgotten about the Great War anyways.  :(

It's sad to see the last of that generation go.  The WW2 veterans are starting to dwindle on Armistice Day too :(

Not in the UK.  The First World War has more cultural impact and resonance here than any other war (considerably more than WW2).

I really like(ed) the generation of people who were born and brought up before WW1.

Far less bs than their successors.
