It is true that Nazi Germany was very efficient. But how long did they last, from the moment they began the genocide to the end of the regime?

Israel is taking its time, cleansing the land as it is colonizing it, consolidating its power, and no one is seriously challenging them.

Nazi Germany was challenged by France, UK & Commonwealth, then Russia, then USA and a lot of countries hating their guts enough to be active neutrals.  Even Spain leaned toward the allies toward the end, ignoring allied spies operating on its territory.

Israel has outlived them all, and it will outlive the USSR too.

China has engaged in ethnic & cultural cleansing multiple times since it began its communist era.  Doesn't mean everyone is dead over there.  I wouldn't say Uighur are faring well.  But to each his own.  

Some people turn a blind eye to fascism until it hits them in the face.

The US occupying Gaza would certainly be a creative way to solve the issue.

In my mind, it would be like an old-school UN Mandate.  Hope the US is ready to deal with suicide bombers, but then again they did occupy Iraq for a number of years, so nothing new.

Oh, wait.

He wants to move the Palestinians somewhere else?

Isn't that, err, ethnic cleansing?

I mean, it's not like ethnic cleansing is completely unprecedented.  They ethnically cleansed the Germans after World War Two.  But what are you going to do with the Gazans?  Somehow I doubt that the Israelis will want them moved to the West Bank, and they're too dangerous for Egypt or Jordan to take them.

Well the ethnic cleansing of Germans is now generally seen as a crime. So, you know, not a great precedent.

Well last time we all scrambled to oppose the crazy shit and limit the damage as much as possible under the mistaken assumption that everybody saw he was dangerous and he would be out of office.

But now he is back so...what now? Opposing the crazy shit and limiting the damage is fairly pointless if MAGA is just going to be in power on a regular rotating basis from here on out. The crazy stuff is going to happen and the damage is going to be done.
