That's Newark for you; we actually had to change our driver's license format a couple years ago because there was no way to cull the sheer number of fake licenses that were coming out of their DMV offices.

There was also another corruption scandal a year or two ago involving employees in Paterson responsible for Newark's Section 8 program... 3 women charged with theft by deception, totaling over $1.4 million, taken from the program.

Trenton's just as bad, but tends to not air its dirty laundry out across the state quite as much.

Jews running financial crime and organ harvesting? Say it ain't so!  :P

Syrian Jews. Mizrahim, not Ashkenazim.

If it was Ashkenazim, they wouldn't have been caught.  :D

Pfft, Section 8 is the Cadillac of public positions for corrupt individuals.  Back in 1995, when my family was still a poor immigrant family in Brooklyn, the word on the street was that Section 8 apartments went for $5000, though that didn't entitle you cut in line.  It was still a good investment, and it was recouped after a year of reduced rents.

Going to have to send in the US Marines and Army to occupy New Jersey! Install a new and democratic government to replace the feudal system there now.  ;)

Out of 44 people arrested, 15 were Jersey City politicians.  :yeah: This has been a banner month for the city, I'm so proud.
