It's an interesting election with both mining and independence on vote. Also there's no Aleqa Hammond to overshadow it all with misuse of public funds.

I voted for her too.  She is from the ecologist party, IIRC, the one opposed to the China deal? I read something about that last week.  I hope there is no deal with China.  Only Canadian mining corporations have true experience digging in the frozen north anyway, so it's good to oppose China

In reality the socialists won (#2). I think they had a good election because of their resistance towards the mining project and Siamut, usually the winning party, was for it.
