Time has come to select who should lead Greenland to independence and how to attract rich Chinese people: the mineral riches or the natural beauty of the lands.

The world can 'look forward' to a Danish Falklands style operation to recover the almost continent from it's new CCP overlords.  :)

1-3 all look pretty white, so I'm going to vote for a true greenlander (who at least is wearing a button-up shirt) - #4.  As the oldest he looks to be an elder as well.
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

The last person.  Great sweater.  Also, doesn't look the type to let the Monos of the world destroy Greenland.

There's been a fair amount of covereage of this election in Danish media. I don't recall that from previous Greenland elections.

Savonarola

Went with the last one; with that sweater I assume she's some sort of Joan Baez/Buffy Sainte-Marie style hippie who resolves all ethical dilemmas by turning them into a folk song.
In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace—and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

It's an interesting election with both mining and independence on vote. Also there's no Aleqa Hammond to overshadow it all with misuse of public funds.

It would be difficult to find any female politician who wouldn't be wearing a similar sweater in press photos.

I do like the chick's jumper.
But third from bottom looks like a naughty boy who may have just pooed himself.

I guess the sweater is the norm over there, given the weather.

I voted for her too.  She is from the ecologist party, IIRC, the one opposed to the China deal? I read something about that last week.  I hope there is no deal with China.  Only Canadian mining corporations have true experience digging in the frozen north anyway, so it's good to oppose China :P

You voted for the social liberal wanting to stay in the Kingdom of Denmark. Congratulations!

In reality the socialists won (#2). I think they had a good election because of their resistance towards the mining project and Siamut, usually the winning party, was for it.

Boring looking dudes (not wearing ties, oddly enough I agree with barrister on this; go full casual or not at all) or woman wearing a nice jumper? I predict a landslide

The Larch

Went with the majority and picked the cool sweater lady.

So, who is who?  :P

Sheilbh

As with everyone else, last lady for the knitwear :w00t:
