And now we find out the shooter spends all his time playing video games.  But somehow has the accuracy of a sniper.

I am a bit skeptical they have the right person.

Lots more and this is an aside, but you've got to feel for the father realising and turning in his own son - although I'd read it was because he recognised him from the pictures and his minister also identified him to the police.

I mean, he grew up in a Republican family with a law enforcement dad. The odds of him being taken to the shooting range and raised around guns are *quite* high.

No doubt, but I suspect there is a difference between shooting guns, and learning how to shoot at that kind of distance.

Someone who has hit a target at that kind of range can perhaps tell us if that is remarkable or not.
