The council has voted to rename their village to Fugging, effective Jan 1st.

They were quite fed up with the constant jokes in recent years, and countless city limits signs and other items with the name on them were stolen by "tourists."

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops.

I keep reading the title as Farewell to Fucking Austria. Which it certainly was good at under the Hapsburgs. Although the Spanish branch got a bit carried away with it and fucked themselves to death.
