Is it a supply issue or an utilization issue? Over here we're at just 3.4%, but we've used everything we got.

Barrister

100% supply.  Moderna only ships every 3 weeks or so, Pfizer did not ship anything last week.

Not helped by the fact we have to get all our supply from the EU as the US won't let any vaccine leave their country.

Meanwhile I bet Sheilbh already got the AZ, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, and is waiting to snack on J&J.

Barrister

Not sure why Canada hasn't approved AstraZeneca yet, but we haven't.  Hopefully J&J will go through soon as well.

Canada vaccinated a whopping 5,017 people yesterday.  Over one month after vaccines were approved, we've done 2.2% of our population.  At that rate it'll take over 4 years to do everyone.

I think that's an overly pessimistic projection, you're assuming that none of the unvaccinated will die in the next four years.

Hey Beeb, is anti-masking a thing in Canada?

Minimally.

We (at least in Alberta) are getting more protests about forced closures - restaurants opening when they're not supposed to, churches having big unauthorized services, that kind of thing.  But masking is pretty well accepted (except for the number of times I see people's noses being uncovered). <_<

 Just safely locked down, waiting.

Waiting for my dad to get his but he should get it in the next fortnight.

Becoming a bit of an issue in Scotland as they've used less than 50% of their supply and are way, way behind the pace of the other nations of the UK - no idea why.
Let's bomb Russia!

I presume is Westminster's fault somehow.

Kinda.

But it's too cold right now to actually do protests. Quebec's got a curfew too.

I get my first shout at 10am on Wednesday.

Being a part-time teacher has its benefits.

Are part time teachers the only ones allowed to shout at their students?

Only if the students don't answer when you call roll:
