Maybe - though I am also fundamentally of a weak constitution and collapse at the merest sign of illness   :Embarrass:

What is your amending formula, we might be able to fix you.

Meri strikes me as a 7-50 type gal. :)

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

My cousin is in the hospital, but not because of covid. She has covid, but she's in the hospital because she also had a stroke.

This is nothing new for her though. 30 years ago she had breast cancer, a brain aneurysm and severe abdominal lesions all within one year.

Women want me. Men want to be with me.

Picked up the weekly click and collect at Sainsburys around noon. Far from as many fellow collecters as during the Spring lockdown, but the store parking lot was absolutely choke full.

In general if traffic is down since the new restrictions a week ago, it is by the sligthest amount. I just don't think it is taken much seriously this time around.

Interesting. As I've said elswhere for me I think my gaming has gone down after an initial peak. Sitting at the same desk looking at the same screen in my free time I'd be looking at in my work time... Not great.
Has me thinking to step up switch plans.

25-30 years ago there was a lot of debate in Canada about amending the Constitution in order to get Quebec's signature on it.  One of the sticking points was the amending formula.  Quebec did not sign on to the 1982 Constitution, and felt they should have a veto.

Anyways, the amending formula then as it is now is the 7-50 formulation - you need the consent of 2/3 of the provinces (so 7) representing 50% of the population of Canada.

I now know why Canadian comedians immigrate to the US if that passes as humor in the frigid south.
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son

Still don't get it, even after your explaination, but regardless, how did I get tagged in the conversation at all?

At least you weren't shocked that some people didn't wash their rice.  WTF was Tyr thinking anyway?

My wife has COVID.  She started feeling sick last week and lost her sense of smell/taste a day or so into it.  She just got back a positive test result this morning.
