I got 1.2%, 0.3%, and 0.3%.  I guess there is no point in putting me in intensive care, if I get to be that bad they should wheel me straight into the morgue.   :hmm:  Looks like the modelers in charge of these models didn't really do a good job modeling the conditional probabilities.

It might work. A lot of people will die needlessly but those who won't have severe symptoms, a lot of them will be like Dorsey and conclude it was all nothing and Trump was right lets reelect him.

Just to follow up on the situation in Texas where the Governor is now telling people to stay at home and warning of a massive outbreak. I read this morning that Houston hospitals have now said they're at 97% capacity (this includes childrens hospitals treating adults).

I would be furious if I was in one of these states seeing spikes. You go through all of the difficulties of lockdown and then just piss it up the wall and end up back at the beginning. What was the point of lockdown in the first place if you haven't done anything else, so you just re-open and then discover an infectious disease still acts like an infectious disease?
