Stumbled across this. It rang pretty true to me:

Musk had invested in NeuroVigil, the brain-monitoring company Low founded, in 2009.

Here's what Low wrote on his LinkedIn page:

"I have known Elon Musk at a deep level for 14 years, well before he was a household name. We used to text frequently. He would come to my birthday party and invite me to his parties. He would tell me everything about his women problems. He also said we would be on Mars in a couple years recently.

Same old tricks. I guess the market is so stupid they will fall for it again.

All of them seem to be perpetually "just a few years away".

Cold Fusion is always decades away. Currently ITER is looking at 2035-2039 or something. Though I am aware ITER is not the only project, it is just the one I google from time to time to see what's up.

So AI and Tesla would have to move pretty slowly indeed.

Of the three cold fusion is the most likely, and it is a decade or two away, at best.
