Adoption is a good thing so I vote yes. I'm curious as to your reasons though.

Also, are you thinking infant or older kid? Abroad or domestic? And yeah, what's the driving sentiment?

It is a lot of work.  It costs a huge amount of money.  It messes up the succession plans.  He/she may not get along with you.

On the other hand, I do agree that one more member will make the Ed tribe's office worker power walk even more spectacular.  I have always imagined your tribe, consisting of bankers, lawyers, engineers, accountants and doctors, doing power walks in suits.
