What should I do tonight?

Wife has taken the kids to the mountains for a couple nights.  Last night I had to pick up my dad at the airport and went out for supper with him.

So I have one night with the house all to myself.  This is virtually unprecedented since having kids.

What should I do with myself for the night?  What should I do/make for supper?

You've got two hours to give me suggestions. :)

I drank because I wanted to drown my sorrows, but now the damned things have learned to swim.

Women want me. Men want to be with me.

all of the above, but probably in reverse order.
Being lazy is bad; unless you still get what you want, then it's called "patience".
Hubris must be punished. Severely.

PRC

Lots of porn for sure, get fully nude, grab the lube, the works on the big screen TV.   Booze & weed, pizza for dinner.  Video games and movies at the same time.  Followed by lots of shame.

  • Is there a gaming store that has open board games? Or maybe just a great place to browse?
  • What about a movie that you want to see but the wife and kids don't? Tonight's the night!
  • A restaurant that you've been wanting to try? Cheaper when it's dinner for one to try it out before taking the wife out.
  • What video games do you never get to play at home when the kids are there? Time to check out Steam, maybe, for new titles?
Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish, I wish he'd go away...

Fuck - you know there's a gaming store in St., Albert I've meant to check out for six fucking years, but haven't because it's in St. Albert (opposite side of town).  I should check out to see if they're open late on a Thursday...

You'll actually get to watch internet porn with the volume up for a change.

Great idea, Meri.  I play at my local shop once a week and we're always eager to invite new people.  I'm sure that Albertans are even more welcoming, being Canadians and all.
The medievals were only too right in taking nolo episcopari as the best reason a man could give to others for making him a bishop. Give me a king whose chief interest in life is stamps, railways, or race-horses; and who has the power to sack his Vizier (or whatever you care to call him) if he does not like the cut of his trousers.

Government is an abstract noun meaning the art and process of governing and it should be an offence to write it with a capital G or so as to refer to people.

We'll see when I get home though.  Still need to get some supper.  AT that point I may not feel like driving clear across town.  If I had planned ahead I could have driven to work, then gone to Mission from here.

But it's still a good idea Meri.

And if the Jets were actually still in contention I would probably go to a sports bar for dinner and to watch tonight's game.  But sadly, they're not. :weep:
