To sleep, perchance to dream. But in that sleep of death, what dreams may come?

I'm a huge Steve Jobs fanboi, but he was a grade A asshole to everyone in his life, and yes could sell ice to a proverbial eskimo.

It's what makes him such a fascinating character.
Posts here are my own private opinions.  I do not speak for my employer.

Went with both.  Man certainly built an empire, but he was known to be a dishonest jackass.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011

Come writers and critics who prophesize with your pen, and keep your eyes wide the chance won't come again; but don't speak too soon for the wheel's still in spin, and there's no telling who that it's naming. For the loser now will be later to win, cause the times they are a-changin'. -- B Dylan

Pretty good movie.  If it's not exactly Boyle's best, it still beats the crap out of Sunshine.

The actual guy was okay, I guess, as far as billionaires go.  Way better than, say, Peter Thiel.  Never once suggested vampirism.

Thiel has light years on Jobs. At least he killed Gawker. That was a service to humanity.

The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.   -G'Kar
