Calling the Gipsy Kings hispanic is a huge stretch.

I'm taking a very expansive view of the term. Gipsy kings are surely more Hispanic than willie Nelson?  :P
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

There's a fine line between salvation and drinking poison in the jungle.

I'm embarrassed. I've been making the mistake of associating with you. It won't happen again. :)

Guillermo Nelson is one of the greats.

And Willie Nelson is more Hispanic than Kris Kristoferson.

I just found Hotel California by Gipsy Kings. I thought someone here recommended it, but it seems not...for some reason I searched for it, and man that song is way better than the original.

I'm also going to add in "I took a pill in Ibiza". Omitting that would be a huge miss.

Girl from Ipamena
Mambo Number Five
Rico Suave

Already mentioned by Yi, but I have to second:

Macarena
La Vida Loca

[I assume you're going for deliberately kitsch / campy songs, not actually for artistic merit]

I was going for good songs that people will want to listen to, but are acceptable to a general audience.

Well scratch Rico Suave and Macarena from my suggestions then.

The others are dated but quite catchy songs. :)

Macarena is schlock but chicks like to dance to it.
