I guess we have reached the "planting evidence" stage.

As I keep saying my worry and what people's worry should be is that these people are already pushing themselves past the point where losing an election is an acceptable risk to their personal freedom. People should ask what Hungarians should have been asking themselves for over a decade: considering all the shit they are willing to do, do you REALLY expect they'll let an election go free and fair and then accept an unfavourable result?

Quote from: Tamas on January 28, 2026, 03:43:54 AMI don't have an English source but apparently 5 European diplomats confirmed anonymously that Fico, Slovakia's Putinist maffia boss (official title Prime Minister) told EU leaders on their recent meeting that he was terrified by Trump's mental state after the two spoke.

If Fico is terrified, imagine what a sane person would think.

Trump warns Canada against working with China, because China would ban ice-hockey first thing.

He has also warned Starmer not to make deals with China.

Going to file it under "why not waste time sucking up to him"

Meanwhile Trump put up a photo of him and Putin at the WH, made when Trump paid homage to the great Putin in Alaska.

I am disappointed that the Don did not threaten Canadian teams to be forced to join the KHL, where the sole Chinese pro ice hockey team plays.  :P

By expelling (deporting ? ) them from the NHL. :D

So if all aircraft made in Canada are decertified, what is the effect of a tariff on the sale of those same aircraft  :hmm:

In several surveys, the overwhelming first choice for what makes Canada unique is multiculturalism. This, in a world collapsing into stupid, impoverishing hatreds, is the distinctly Canadian national project.

Do motors count in this decertification because that's going to be like 4000+ Helicopters?

Measles outbreak in South Carolina. WHO would have thought having a antivax nutter as the secretary of health would lead to such an unforeseen consequence.

The guy Trump nominated for the Fed sounds like a reasonable, orthodox technocrat, not a sycophantic idiot.  I mean that's welcome, but pretty unusual.
