Why the surprise.  These are people that believe due process is a right that belongs to some people, but not others. They don't believe it can happen to everyone, just the people with the wrong color skin and background.

This order is truly extraordinary in multiple respects.  We will see how it plays out but the obvious read is that there is a majority for now that thinks the administration's contempt for the courts is spinning out of control.

Besides, the last time we talked about tariffs, you said if it was the President's will, it was democracy.  Why the sudden change of heart?  The President his exercising his democratic power.  He promised tariffs during the campaign to make American Great Again, your compatriots voted for this, your Congress gave him emergency powers to deal with tariffs, it's perfectly democratic, no?

So, the Trump administration has (illegally) torn up the collective bargaining agreement with TSA workers and announced that TSA employees will be paid and assigned work at the whim of the TSA Administrator. You can imagine the impact on TSA retention and morale.

But, the good news is that this is right in line with the Project 2025 plan to privatize the TSA by forcing the TSA to fail. If a few more planes get blown up, it's still worth it because PROFITS.  In fact, planes blowing up would be a good thing because it would show that TSA cannot be effective because reasons.
