Apparently it was inadvertently seized and returned.
Trump probably kept his spare passport in the box with nuclear secrets, as you do.

Liz Cheney lost her primary.  Maybe not a shocker.

garbon

Not at all a shocker given how hard Wyoming got/gets for Trump.

They religiously clung to coal as their savior, and Trump promised to bring it back.  The only reason he didn't was because of the Deep State, and so supporting him and his apostles is the correct moral thing to do.
I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Amazingly candid interview, IMO, with Mick Mulvaney about Trump.

This guys does not sound like a stooge.

Doesn't look good...

Quote from: Maggie HabermanNEWS: Federal officials recovered more than 300 individual classified documents during 3 interactions at MAL in last eight months, more than 150 in the boxes that went to NARA in January.

...

Trump himself is said to have gone through the boxes in late 2021, after nearly a year of archives officials trying to recover the material

...

Some of the documents retrieved in January related to the NSA, the CIA, and the FBI, across a number of national security matters, a person familiar with what was taken said.

...

Documents were found in the storage area and in a container in a closet in his office, per people familiar with the matter

Quote from: OrinKerrThe surveillance footage from Mar-a-Lago "revealed people moving boxes in and out" of the storage area where Trump had stored classified documents he had taken, "and in some cases" changing the containers some documents were held in.

But Trump personally going through boxes containing 300 classified documents and then turning over only about 150 would appear to be pretty incriminating behavior under the terms of the Espionage Act.

Quote from: kyledcheneyThe May 10 letter between NARA and the Trump team is extraordinarily damning for Trump team, confirms there was "special access program" level material found in files at Mar-a-Lago.

Trump ally John Solomon's team posted it here
It is far better for the truth to tear my flesh to pieces, then for my soul to wander through darkness in eternal damnation.

Jet: So what kind of woman is she? What's Julia like?
Faye: Ordinary. The kind of beautiful, dangerous ordinary that you just can't leave alone.
Jet: I see.
Faye: Like an angel from the underworld. Or a devil from Paradise.

QuoteBREAKING: Trump is representing HIMSELF, with no lawyer at all, in his case against the United States regarding the search of Mar-a-Lago and recovery of government records.

The legal term is "pro se" - for himself.

He could not find anyone to represent him.

Didn't he plead the 5th like 400+ times with a NY DA a few weeks ago? :D

This should be entertaining.

The CNN talking points are that he doesn't pay his bills and he doesn't take anybody's advice.

I also figure people are leery of getting caught up in legal problems of their own.

Doesn't matter. Just something else he'll get away with. Again.
Shame people can't seem to get this lesson through their fucking heads.

Might as well leave them all there, he'll get them back in 2024 anyway.

This is wrong, I checked the docket today and he is listed as represented.  And his lawyers filed a motion yesterday.  Although the papers are so awful he might be better off pro se.  And at least one of them - Evan Corcoran - may have to withdraw to defend himself since he reportedly drafted the false affidavit submitted to the FBI.

This.
I've given it serious thought. I must scorn the ways of my family, and seek a Japanese woman to yield me my progeny. He shall live in the lands of the east, and be well tutored in his sacred trust to weave the best traditions of Japan and the Sacred South together, until such time as he (or, indeed his house, which will periodically require infusion of both Southern and Japanese bloodlines of note) can deliver to the South it's independence, either in this world or in space.  -Lettow April of 2011
