At risk of trying to be fair to Trump (yeah, I know), I believe that former President's can still call themselves "President".

But yeah, more likely in the form of "Hello there, Mr President", and not so much as "Hi there, I am the President of the United States, George W. Bush".

He flirts with it.  Some parts of QAnon continue to assert that he is still ACTUALLY the president (i.e. he has the nuclear codes, that any day now Joe Biden is going to be arrested), so of course Trump can't contradict his base.

So he never refers to himself as the former President.  Often times he refers to himself as 'the 45th President of the US'.  And former Presidents are still referred to by the title (i.e. it's still President Obama, President Carter even) so he's not technically wrong.

But no, he doesn't go around writing fake Executive Orders and expecting them to be acted on.

I don't get this. Surely Trump has staff people, his kids, and tons of fans who can say whatever he wants said on Facebook. Why does it matter if he is "banned"? But then maybe I am not sure how the ban works. Maybe even a "friends of Trump" would be banned I don't know.

I know his favorite use of his time as President was to post endlessly on twitter on the American People's time but most politicians do not post personally on social media right?
