Speaking of banal recruiting slogans cum morale builders, has it already been mentioned that the memebers of the Space Force are to be officially known as "guardians?"

After getting the Guardians of the Galaxy jokes out of the way, I've softened on it.  What else are you going to call them (other than Spacemen)?

Apparently it goes back to the original motto of the Air Force Space command, "Guardians of the High Frontier" from the 1960s.

Whether the Space Force itself was a good idea is a different matter.

Well also guardians is gender neutral. But it is a dreadful name
